The brief
Miss Sparkle is a Hibiscus Coast home-cleaning, decluttering and exit-clean business. The brief went well beyond a website: the goal was one system to run the whole operation, from the first enquiry through quoting, scheduling, the job itself, and staying in touch with clients afterwards.
So I designed and built exactly that: a custom marketing site backed by a full CMS/CRM and a separate installable app for cleaners in the field, all on one modern, real-time platform. It is built around how the business actually works day to day, not bent to fit off-the-shelf software.

Brand, character and motion
The whole look is mine too, not just the software. Miss Sparkle needed an identity with real personality, and a mascot people would remember.
- Logo, brand identity and a consistent design system
- The hand-crafted Miss Sparkle character, a friendly retro mascot
- Animation and motion that bring the brand to life
- Short-form video for the website and social

A CRM built around the real workflow
Every enquiry has a home and a next step, from first contact to a booked, recurring client, without a spreadsheet in sight.
- Lead pipeline: new enquiry → estimate → quote → won, with the source tracked
- Rich client records: multiple addresses, access notes, preferences, tags and full-text search
- Room-by-room quotes with a shareable link, PDF export and on-site photo mark-up
- Jobs with an on-site timer, checklist, and before/after photos
- Recurring bookings that generate upcoming jobs automatically

A complete email hub, built in
Client conversations live inside the system, not scattered across a personal inbox, so nothing gets lost between quote and clean.
- Send and receive from inside the app, with full conversation threading
- Labels, stars, drafts and reusable templates
- Scheduled send with an undo-send window
- Tidy archiving so the inbox stays under control

A field app for the team
Cleaners get their own installable phone app: just today's jobs and what each one needs, nothing else to wade through.
- Installs to the home screen like a normal app
- Today's jobs, tap-to-start timer, and photo upload from site
- Simple, secure sign-in made for phones
- Job briefs and checklists so everyone knows the details

An AI layer that does the busywork
The genuinely time-saving part: AI woven through the day-to-day so the owner spends less time at a keyboard and more time running the business.
- A website assistant that answers questions and captures callback requests
- Inbox triage and draft replies written in the owner's own voice
- Voice notes from a job turned into structured updates and checklist ticks
- Before/after report photos paired up automatically, plus a social-ad generator
- A weekly business digest, summarised and emailed automatically

Joined-up operations
The pieces talk to each other, so the same information doesn't get typed in twice.
- Two-way Google Calendar sync
- Branded PDF quotes and job reports
- A client portal for people to see their own bookings
- Travel-time hints between jobs
- Invoice status tracked against Xero

The outcome
The result is a business that runs from a single screen: every enquiry, quote, job, client and conversation in one place, with the repetitive admin quietly automated.
It is a genuine example of what a custom build can do for a small business, taking the software that would normally mean juggling several subscriptions and shaping it around one operator's real day.
