Paragon Design is run by me, Mark Steven. I respect your privacy and look after any personal information you share with me. This policy explains what I collect through this website, what I do with it, and the rights you have under the New Zealand Privacy Act 2020.

What I collect

When you fill in a form on this site (a contact enquiry, a website health check, or a checklist download), I collect what you type in: typically your name, email address, and anything you tell me about your business or website. Like most websites, the site also records technical information such as your IP address and browser type through analytics cookies.

How I use it

I use your information to reply to you, provide the services you've asked about, and improve the site. If you've asked for something like the website checklist, I may follow up by email about related services; you can opt out of those emails at any time and I'll stop.

Who else sees it

I don't sell or rent your information to anyone. It's stored with the reputable providers that run this site's hosting, email delivery, and analytics, and they only process it on my behalf. Beyond that, I'd only disclose your information if the law required it.

Security

I take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss, and unauthorised access. No transmission over the internet can be guaranteed 100% secure, but this site runs over SSL and the systems behind it are kept patched and current.

Your rights

You can ask me at any time what personal information I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Email me and I'll sort it out in line with the Privacy Act.

This site links to other websites (including client sites I've built). I'm not responsible for the privacy practices of other websites.

Children's privacy

This site is aimed at business owners and isn't intended for children under 16. I don't knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page.
