The brief
The Hibiscus Coast Triathlon & Multisport Club has been training on the Coast's beaches, roads and trails since 1993. A club like this has a lot of moving parts: events, weekly training, race results, newcomers, news, sponsors and a committee of volunteers keeping it all current in whatever time they can spare.
So the site is built to be run by the club itself. I designed and built a comprehensive custom CMS on a modern real-time platform, wrapped in a fast, bold front end, and gave the club something most club sites don't have: its own AI assistant.
Logo, brand and design system
Before a line of code, the club got a bold new identity that feels like sport, built into a proper design system so every page stays consistent.

Everything on the site is editable by the committee, with no code and no waiting on a developer. When they make a change, it is live for members straight away.

A blazing-fast, live front end
The site is built to feel instant. Because the front end subscribes to the club's data in real time, new content simply appears, and pages stay quick on a phone at the beach.

Built for a multisport club
The clever bits are the club-specific ones, the jobs a generic template never handles well.

The outcome
The committee now runs the whole site themselves, changes go live for members the moment they're made, and the club has an assistant answering the everyday questions around the clock.
