Licence
What you may do with a Paragon Workshop plug-in.
What you get
When you buy a plug-in you receive a personal, non-exclusive licence to install and use it on up to 3 computers that you own or control, and to use the audio you make with it in your own work, commercial work included, without further payment or credit. The licence is personal to you: where several people in a studio or a company will use a plug-in, each of them needs a licence of their own.
The free plug-ins
The free plug-ins need no licence and have no trial. You may install and use them on any number of computers that you own or control, and use the audio you make with them in your own work, commercial work included, at no cost. The rest of this licence applies to them too: you may not sell them, take them apart or change them, and Paragon Design keeps ownership. Please send other people to the download page rather than passing the installer on.
What you may not do
- Share the installer of a premium plug-in, your licence or your download links with other people.
- Sell, rent, lend or sublicense a plug-in or its licence.
- Take apart the plug-in, or remove or change its licence data, except to the extent the law allows you to do so whatever this licence says.

The Workshop bundle
The bundle gives you one licence for each plug-in it includes on the day you buy. A plug-in added to the bundle later is included only if we say so when we add it.
The trial
Each premium plug-in works for 14 days without a licence. The days are counted for each plug-in on its own, from the first time you open its window or after five minutes of audio have gone through it, whichever comes first. When they are over the plug-in passes your audio through unchanged and switches off its own processing until a licence is added. The trial is for trying a plug-in before you buy it, and it is counted on your own computer.
Your licence file
Each plug-in comes with a licence: a short line of text, also offered as one file ending in .pwlicense for the whole order. It names the plug-in, your order and your email address, and it carries a digital signature that the plug-in checks on your own computer: there is no account and no connection. To use a premium plug-in after its 14-day trial, open it, press LICENCE in its top bar, then CHOOSE FILE and pick your licence file, which this order offers as a download, or drop the file anywhere on the plug-in's window. One file covers every plug-in in your order, in every host on that Mac. Keep it with your records.
If the purchase is refunded
A refund ends the licence for that purchase and switches off its downloads, and you must stop using the plug-ins from that purchase. The refund policy has the details.
Who owns the plug-ins

No guarantees beyond the law
The plug-ins are supplied as they are. To the extent the law allows, we give no warranty that a plug-in will suit your purpose, or that it will run without interruption in every host. This does not limit your rights under the law that protects consumers where you live; the terms of sale say more.
