Password Mayhem – How to Avoid It

One aspect of online life which can cause major headaches is passwords. How do you go about managing, storing, generating passwords for a growing number of sites which require them? Here at Paragon Design, we use a number of products, both software and internet-based, which help us to keep our sanity amongst the madness of, as you would imagine in our line of work, hundreds, if not thousands of passwords.

It’s a really bad idea to use a single password for all of the sites that you frequent – if one gets hacked and your password details stolen, the perpetrators will have access to every website you’re a member of. The best approach is to use unique passwords for each website. How do we go about that in a secure and manageable way?
